In 1979 Esme Allen (Jo Phillimore) is a well known West End actress caught in a changing West End climate that is trying for performers. A visit from her young daughter, Amy (Lissy Malt) with a new boyfriend Dominic, (Simo Vaz) sets in motion a series of events which only find their shape sixteen years later.

Swan Theatre Company present their final production in their 2018/19 season, Amys View by David Hare (Racing Demon, Skylight) directed by Paul Frecknall.

Originally staged by the Royal National Theatre in 1997, before transferring to the West End in 1998 and Broadway in 1999, Amys View is a diffuse, incisive, funny, moving, difficult, play. The Times.
