As COVID Lockdown restrictions continue to ease, The Place Bedford is looking forward to a long & busy summer.
Although our indoor theatre space remains closed for live performances, we have a large number of activities and clubs restarting in the venue, especially for families and children.
Our indoor space is still being used for filming activities, so if you need a space for recording, or a closed meeting please get in touch. It’s only live audiences that we’re unable to accommodate at present.
We are still working hard to support artists making online and digital content, ensuring that as things open back up we don’t leave behind those people who, for whatever reason, aren’t able to fully engage in our live cultural offer. Please check out our Whats On pages to find out more about our digital offer – our events are tagged and highlighted so that you know what is happening where.
Our plans for a safe return to live experiences continue to develop, and you can see the huge amount of outdoors theatre events that we have announced for May – September across the year. We’re really excited to welcome you back on site and to show you our ideas for the future of Outdoor theatre.
At the forefront of our minds though all of this work is making sure that you feel confident and comfortable returning to The Place Bedford for our activities. We continue to take your health, safety and wellbeing very seriously, and we will be adhering closely to government guidelines, track & trace and Social Distancing restrictions throughout the summer.
2021 still looks to be a challenging year for the venue, but we’re working hard to rise to those challenges. We know that with your continued support and interest we can keep producing and presenting amazing entertainment and thought-provoking experiences.
Your interest and help means the world to us, so if you have a chance, why not sending us a message on our Social Media channels to let us know what you’re looking forward to over the summer months?
