A Brand New Early Years Project for Bedford parents
The Place is delighted to be partnering with Spun Glass Theatre to deliver a series of creative workshops for local parents & carers, facilitated by artists and creatives, and building a support network for young parents at the venue.

First is a 5 week creative workshop programme for parents/carers and babies 0-18 months.
It will run MONDAY 1st November onward at The Place Bedford.
Our workshops are designed to support parents during the first year of parenthood – we strive to create somewhere welcoming, where you will feel cared for and restored, as well as providing a range of fun activities for you and your baby.
First is a chance to meet other parents in a Covid safe environment, a calm and welcoming space for some much needed connection, storytelling and friendship. The programme features workshops from visiting artists from a range of art forms, alongside regular baby sensory and creative activities.
The sessions are £8 and last for an hour and a half with refreshments provided.
