The Place Theatre are proud to present the premiere of Adie Mueller and Mike Carter's new piece of theatre of horror. Sandman is a devised solo performance inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann's gothic horror story 'The Sandman'.

The woman before you needs your help.

Spirits have lodged themselves in her body. They speak to her of uncanny things: of a young man who thinks the Sandman wants to take his eyes and who is attracted to a woman who isnt all she seems...

Haunted by their story the woman is compelled to exorcise it from her body. She needs you as a witness. She needs you to receive their story and all that entails.

Expressive physicality, the use of objects and puppetry and the performers intimate relationship with the audience immerse you in an unnerving and thrilling nightmare world.

Note that this show is not suitable for children under 16.
Strong language and some scenes of a sexual nature

Tickets for this show are priced at £10.00, with a concession price of £8.50.

Tickets are also available from the Central Box Office in Bedford Tourist Information Centre on St Pauls Square, Telephone 01234-718112.
