Audio News & Interviews

The Place team have a regular broadcast on Bedford Radio that goes out on the internet every month. It’s filled with behind the scenes conversations with the team here at The Place Bedford, as well as local creatives, artists and participants, and often offers an insightful look at the events and activities that we have coming up.

Alongside this we publish our own Podcast version that contains a long format conversation with our participants, if you want to hear more details

If you want to know more about why we programme the work we do, what has inspired the artist we work with to create their work, or any insights into the day-to-day work at the venue we recommend giving it a listen.

Extended Edition Podcast
A Day In(doors) Podcast

During 2020 we started a podcast to publish extended interviews with the artists and creatives whose artistic work we were bringing to the venue over the forthcoming months. Then COVID-19 hit, and the world went into lockdown. Over the next few months we reimagine what the podcast could be, and spoke with a variety of local people, team members and creative people about how the first lockdown had impacted their lives, work and plans.
