Improvisation…what?! Don’t worry – this workshop is for everyone, whether you’re a performer or not. Would you like to learn ways to help with developing resilience and reducing social anxiety using practical exercises with real world applications? Then this is for you.
These non-performance workshops use drama based exercises to develop communication, collaboration and empathy. Participants are encouraged to take low stakes risks, facilitated in a safe, friendly and supportive atmosphere. This will be a gentle and supportive group, using activities and games to develop conversations and connections.
Participants can engage or opt-out of any activities if they don’t feel comfortable.
The workshops last 90 minutes and are structured to support all elements of the resilience framework (Hart, Blinco and Thomas), highlighting participants’ inner strengths and resources.
They’re ideal to support participants in:
Preparing for interviews
Overcoming social anxiety
Presenting to audiences
Public speaking
Developing confidence
Please bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in
