A young Pole moves to Scotland from Poland to pursue his dreams to become an actor. When he is about to fulfil his dreams, he is confronted with a few traumatic events. Having already been a victim of crime in Poland, he develops the Intruder an imaginary figure that takes its toll on the protagonist’s mental health. In the meantime, police arrest the perpetrators that the protagonist decides to meet.

Written and performed by Remi Rachuba, Polish writer/performer, THE INTRUDER/INTRUZ, is a semi-autobiographical non-linear bilingual solo-piece about fulfilling your dreams, mental health, forgiveness and putting your life back on track and it seeks to connect with those who are, or have been challenged by difficult life circumstances. 
 Supported by Creative Scotland, shortlisted for 2013 Adrian Pagan Playwrighting Award at King’s Head Theatre and was in the final shortlist of BBC Writersroom Drama (12), two language versions of the play, English language and Polish language, will be showcased in the UK in 2020. We are developing audiences across London, the East, Midlands and North West of England starting with venues situated near the UK’s Polish communities.
