Andrew D. Brewis is Keeping the Lights On

Support The Place Bedford with a masterclass in musicals

Prepare for singer and jazz pianist Andrew D. Brewis to perform almost live in your living room, thanks to the magic of YouTube.

For his third ‘lockdown’ jazz concert of the year, Andrew will celebrate the darkened playhouses of the West End and Broadway with a tribute to the legends of musical theatre, past and present. After a career spanning four continents and more than 30 years, no one knows or loves this music better than Andrew. From the intimate charm of My Fair Lady to the epic scope of Les Misérables, expect an evening of theatrical magic, all conjured by Andrew and a beautiful Steinway grand piano. This is a chance to see and hear one of the masters of the classic Broadway songbook performing in his own distinctly British style. And from the best seats in the house, too — your house.

So, put on your favourite slippers, grab the rustliest bag of sweets you like and have your evening out – in! Just fire up YouTube on your favourite Smart TV, tablet or computer and let Andrew transport you to the West End.

Andrew’s Keeping the Lights On is brought you to in support of The Place Theatre, Bedford. It will be available to stream from 7pm on Friday November 13th until 10pm on Sunday 15th at www.andrewdbrewis.com/place

‘Admission’ is free, but this year has been hard on both performing artists and the venues they call home. You can do your bit towards keeping the lights on by making a donation (at the same address) which will be shared between Andrew and The Place

They both thank you in advance for your support.
