Satyam Dance is a Bharatanatyam (South Asian) Dance School and Dance Company based in Milton Keynes.  Artistic Director Debbie Ganguli-Patel who is a local dental surgeon and born and raised in Milton Keynes,  trained in Bharatanatyam from a young age under the tutelage of Guru Prakash Yadagudde at the Bhavan Centre London.  She established Satyam Dance in 2017, and is an ISTD accredited teacher, guiding students through their training from as young as 5 years old.

Natyanjali 2024 is Satyam’s first full company showcase since Covid, and the first time students will be performing together in a professional theatre, and they are very excited that this opportunity is to be at the Place Theatre in Bedford.

Debbie will be presenting dance performances by all of her students from Grades 1 through to Grade 4, along with items performed by the youth development team and the senior students.

The students will be sharing the stage along with their teacher and guest artistes Richa Srivastava who will be presenting Kathak (A Beautiful North Indian Classical Dance Style), Monidipa Seal presenting Odissi (A graceful classical dance form from East India) and the Upahaar Dance Company presenting Mohiniattam (an exceptionally beautiful and graceful classical dance from the state of Kerala), along with Bharatanatyam performances by Debbie herself.
