Megson’s arresting & intelligent songs come to life as the stories, whilst Knowles’ narrative looks to answer what purpose the media has in the 21st century.

Four times nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and winners of the Spiral Earth Awards MEGSON (aka Debs Hanna (Vocals, Whistle, Piano Accordion) and Stu Hanna (Guitar, Mandola, Banjo) gained a reputation not only for their evocative songwriting, but for their exquisite musicianship and northern humour.

Bruntwood prize longlisted Knowles received his major acclaim with Operation Crucible (2013-2021) which appeared all over the Uk as well as off Broadway where it earned a New York Times Critics pick. Joining them all on stage will be captivating double bass player, & chart topping artist in his own right, John Parker.
