Join Paper Balloon Theatre Company on a big adventure as we make contact with a group of intrepid explorers trapped in orbit miles above the earth!  Follow the travels of eight charismatic Aeronauts as they orbit the globe, desperately seeking stories to keep them entertained. 

Take part in an interactive workshop with Paper Balloon Theatre Company and beam your family’s stories up into the ether to be devoured by the balloonists and shared on a brand new episode of The Great Floating Paper Balloon Radio Show.

The motley crew of weary travellers have failed on their mission to reach the moon, and with no hope of a landing any time soon they need all the stories they can get to keep them going. They need your family’s big ideas and storytelling skills. The Airship will be hovering over Bedford for one day only.

Be part of an interactive online workshop on the evening of Friday 3rd Dec 2021 and help to shape what happens next to the characters, and listen together to hear your ideas showcased on the show on Monday 20th Dec 2021. The Radio Show will be available for streaming from all mainstream podcast hosts after the preview.  The Great Floating Paper Balloon Radio Show contains a unique mix of theatre, new writing, games and original music, turning children into play writers with the aid of an internet connection, lots of laughs and silliness.  There has never been a better time to switch on your listening ears and settle in for some interactive story making.  So bring your ideas and get yourself to ground control!
