Your Long Lost Friend are delighted to be taking part in the Great Big Green Week Bedford by bringing you an interactive experience to deepen your understanding of your carbon impact and what changes you can/may like to make.
This will be a participatory event aimed at climate curious individuals, we will collectively explore together questions such as:
What has the highest carbon footprint between a nappy, a bottle of wine and an hour watching TV?
The event will cover the carbon cycle, the use of carbon calculators and effective ways to reduce your carbon emissions. We will delve into the Carbon Literacy Project and explore suggestions on how to deal with climate anxiety and oh so much more.
Henry Bridge, the facilitator of this event, is the founder and director of Your Long Lost Friend Limited, a sustainable theatre and consultancy company. He is carbon literate and is currently designing his own carbon literacy course specialising in performance arts. His consultancy work involves reducing the carbon footprint of theatrical shows, companies and venues through cultivating a sustainable culture and ecosystem within them. His artistic projects are all ecologically motivated, intersectional, community focused and experience driven.
The only requests we have from you is to please come with an open mind and as many questions and queries as possible .
