A play about stopping working, performed entirely by participants on a zoom call.

Before Coronavirus, we were working all the time, we were worried about the gig economy and burnout, and now everything’s stopped. Now everyone is working on their sourdough starters, trying to be productive, feeling scared, trying to get going again.

work.txt is an interactive play performed entirely by participants on a Zoom call, about when things stop working. It is an entirely new, digital, interactive adaptation of Nathan Ellis’ play of the same name, which was nominated for an Innovation Award at VAULT Festival 2020.

★★★★ “Mixing existential soul-searching with wry comedy, this is an adventurous production starring its viewers”  The Guardian

★★★★ “This is the most fun you'll have working from home during lockdown – just don't tell your manager.” BroadwayWorld
