About the Workshop

Explore powerful poems by Maya Angelou, Carol Ann Duffy, Sylvia Plath, and Christina Rossetti, and discover how to translate their words into movement and storytelling.

Guided by Debbie Ganguli-Patel (Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer) and Ishani Priya Patel (writer and dancer), participants will experiment with movement, emotion, and rhythm – working together to create a collaborative theatre piece to perform on stage.

No previous experience is required – just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to take part.
