The Lovely Bones

Bedford Drama Company presents, The Lovely Bones.

The Lovely Bones is a 2018 British play based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Alice Sebold. It was adapted for the stage by Bryony Lavery.

The play is a haunting, yet beautiful exploration of grief, love and the power of memory.

We follow the story of Susie Salmon, a young girl who is murdered and watches from the afterlife as her family and friends struggle to cope with her death but also watches them go through things in life she will never get to experience. From her place “in between” heaven and earth, Susie tries to help them find peace and justice.
