Top Girls begins with Marlene celebrating her promotion by arranging a dinner party with five women from history. Over dinner the women discuss the sacrifices they made to succeed in a man’s world. 

Later, we move to Marlene’s workplace and see that some things haven’t changed. 
Later still, we learn about the personal sacrifices that Marlene has made to achieve her goals. 
Certain Age are looking forward to presenting a play that, since its first performance in 1982 at the Royal Court Theatre, has continued to provoke discussion.
